I cannot recommend that hotel at all. They didn’t honor a cancellation before 4pm on the day of arrival and charged the full amount for every day of the stay.
They tried to get proof that the cancelation was caused by sickness. Great, what part of diarrhea do they need?
They must be stupid, because for a quick profit they risking to lose customers forever. Are they already up for sale ? If yes, tell the buyer to replace management.
