How is it possible to have 14 elections to put somebody in office, what is the process here? Bribe and rerun the election until you win? This doesn’t sound democratic to me at all. How can this happen? 218 in a house of 435 with a two party system. If they don’t vote aligned to their party they want to get bribed or they want another speaker? Then everybody on the House should be on the Ballot and the 5 persons with the most votes goes in the reelection until the 218 is reached. Then who gets elected, the person with the deepest pockets?
