Honorable President Zelenskyy,
I am writing to you today to express my deepest wishes for peace in your country Ukraine.
My generation is post WWII and the generation of my parents had to live through the horrors of WWII. We thought this cannot and should never happen again. It is my utmost concern that, like WWII, this war in Ukraine can only be stopped by using nuclear force. This should never happen! Asking for more and more arms will lead to an escalation. Smarts give in, this war has to stop. It is important to find a way to negotiate and look at the people as a ultimate currency. No matter how many weapons are sold to Ukraine, Russia will not hesitate to demonstrate its power. I don’t see other countries getting involved in retaliations against Russia since they don’t want to get their hands dirty. Selling arms is one thing, using them another. It is time for peace negotiations. How can people look at their stock portfolio and watch the news about Ukraine atrocities?
From my point of view the WWII scenario is used to replay the war profit machine in Ukraine. There are more honorable ways to make money than through war. Never give up to talk to each other.
My best wishes for you, the Ukraine people and a peaceful future for all of us, this planet is too small to have any war!
