Companies believe that it is an acceptable approach to communicate through their Websites . They have your Email but most of the time they don’t use it or they just use it to make you look in their electronic mailbox. So if you have let’s say 20 companies you deal with on a regular basis, you have to have 20 passwords and pins to access your mail, secured with 5 security questions each. This is not progess at all it is customer stupidification and raises the question if you need the service of any such company.

Would you enter a password for each letter you receive in the mailbox in front of your house? No way! All you need isone letter opener. Security has become preposterous and proves that modern technology cannot provide a safe and efficient service.

I have a masters degree in computer science from the year 1986 and this bullshit is not was we had in mind.
