However it challenges my curiosity what is behind this obvious wrongdoing and why are individuals protected in spite of obvious wrongdoing? It seems to be an international pattern of power play performed through the universal weapon : money.

The statute of limitations  for this inheritance in Germany is the year 2047. After that time German law cannot touch any assets associated with it. That is a good reason not to publish any financial reporting, even so the German law BGB requests it.

The heir is in a conflict he/she cannot get out until the terms have expired.

I am looking at all the stories about the Nazi loot, the oil paintings, being returned to the remaining families of their previous owners, jewelry being auctioned of. But what happens to the bank accounts? Nothing, I guess, they are laundered and whitewashed after 30 years hidden in a will in Germany.

It must be a lot of money, enough to kindle wars to distract from the fact.
