Wonder (2017), a wonderful and important movie. In my own family a mother, Friderike, and her disfigured child were excluded from gatherings from peers. Her cousin Rainer and his wife Gabi thought other children would be too scared to see the disfigured child. In neurology it is proven that there is a reflex to regard anybody as foreign that does look like you. Only after a phase of bonding true friendship can develop. I experienced this myself with my neighbors Trisomy 21 disfigured child who became a friend. Or when your height is exceptional or your way of thinking…
mass tourism : building a wall to block the view for tourists? I understand the problems of mass tourism running around myself as a tourist half of my life. Ask for a visitation fee, like Venice has it, a tourist tax, built a viewing platform and collect a fee. Kokomo is another example, an exclusive place so beautiful only the super rich can go there. That happened in Spain Hotels were built so close to the beach, the public didn’t have access to the beaches anymore, until the Spanish government came up with a law that hotels and private property have to allow access to the beaches for the public. Like the Wuhan Virus plandemic showed us, there are very beautiful places to go to other than the tourist hotspots. Why did you go there? So you can say you were there?
