I went to many catholic churches , no-catholic Christian churches, to Jewish temples and tried a comparison between the different religious approaches, where are they the same and where are they different. My intrest in psychology made me convinced of the following : the mass is a ritual or process how to leave in peace:

1.) you meet ones a week

2.) you talk about what you didn’t do  well (not in the meaning of defeat)

3.) you show and feel remorse

4.) you ask for forgiveness

5.) you are forgiven and feel the forgivness

6.) you share a meal

7.) you go in peace.

Martin Luther rose, because 5 was a monetary step not a spiritual or emotional or psychological or sociological.

war happens because of 2 and senseless competition, to be able to admit an error is a strength. strength and weaknesses, when you are aware of your strengths you can admit a weakness.

the Catholic Church is eroding because it is violating 1. through 4., it cannot admit wrongdoing, it is not asking for forgiveness and as a result it is not forgiven,when you don’t live your teaching it’s not convincing for others.
