Conflict of interest between the service provider and the insurance.
I had an appointment with the cardiologist in August 2024 to clear me for a colonoscopy. The cardiologist is going in retirement and confirms that it is okay to get the colonoscopy. The bill for the cardiologist is being paid.
Now several phone calls between the cardiology, Optum and the colonoscopy practice cannot make it happen, that the clearance from the cardiologist arrives at the colonoscopy practice to make an appointment for a colonoscopy.
This is what I call unacceptable.
This deserves today’s “Computer Detectives Intercouse-Stupid Certificate”.
