There has to be an attitude change in the health-care industry, no matter if you look in the US or in Europe, we the patients are the paying customers and not the health insurances! I go with an urinary tract infection to a family doctor practice in Germany, two hours later there is no response from the lab nor the physician and no prescription medication, I thought that was outrageous. In the US, again the same symptoms, I go to the family doctor (Optum) , deliver a sample for the lab, we call you is the answer. There was no phone call only idiot beeps from a idiotic phone, that processes more spam than meaningful messages. This practice is not able to schedule a colonoscopy in 4 month, not able to prescripe medication to heal an urinary tract infection, nor is it handling a refill order within 48 hours. What are we paying for? That executive have multiple million dollars salaries and can afford a yacht?
