The same in Europe and the US: billions of money is send to the Ukraine, tons of weapons too. On both sides of the Atlantic the same question, why is there tons of money for Ukraine and no money for what the country needs?
Like a parent giving all its income to the neighbors and telling the family there is not enough money left for food and heat. Or Florida wants to be renamed “Ukraine” to get funds after a tornado.
What money is this anyways? Donation or a bond, that Ukraine needs to pay back. Why is this huge apparatus of media with all its freedom of speech and social networking never asking this question: donation or bond, loan, mortgage? In case of a donation why would the donor have so much money to Ukraine but not enough for investments in new energies, potholes, or health-care? In case of a mortgage what is the interest rate, the return and the inflation? This is what any head of household would need to ask for their family homes.
Now Ukraine piles up donations or income from government bonds, loans or mortgages and nobody ask how this has to be paid back. It won’t, it cant, like the movie “The Producers (1967, 2005), so nicely explains : war bond shares are oversubscribed and 100% of profit cannot be distributed to 120% of oversubscribed shares therefore the war has to be lost (oversubscribed, überzeichnet, like the La Linea cartoon).
To pay more than 130% for repair and taxes on my 100% rental income in Germany in 2018-2021 didn’t make any sense to me and I left. How much bullshit to take for a masters of Computer Science telling enterprise computers how to compile ballance sheets for more than 30 years?
The world will get smart on this, like Oswald said : you can bullshit some all the time, you can bullshit all for some the time, however you cannot bullshit everybody all the time.
