Set the records straight.
A long, long time ago a friend send me money through PayPal, the service was brand new at the time.
Because my consulting business took me in different states I opened bank accounts that I connected through PayPal. Credit Cards were not my strength at the time, my credit was ruined by an adventurous life, of course it was all my late husband’s fault, but I don’t want to speak bad about the dead, well bad credit was a collateral.
PayPal was accusing me of wrongdoing, the dispute was never resolved and I lost money, not too much, but $2,800.- is a lot when you are already struggling.
Now, it’s time to get to the bottom of this. It feels like opening up an abandoned storage.
PayPal accepted the new password for this old account, allowed the new phone number to be entered. The address is an old address so is the bank account. When trying to update the address and deleting the bank account, the PayPal system doesn’t allow it. This makes no sense at all. Why? No response yet from PayPal.
The PayPal App accepts the new adress, however the old adress and credit card number cannot be deleted. This is what? Identify theft, what is PayPal doing with my account and false because ancient data? Why do they need those old links be in place?

I hope PayPal fired the clerk that accused me of wrongdoing.
PayPal is still unable to discuss the case. This is most unsatisfactory.
Therfore I cannot recommed PayPal.

I try to order flowers to be send to Stuttgart while residing in Indianapolis. 2 efforts to enter an order with Fleurop failed, payment could be processed, but I get a message that PayPal has opened an account for ne5, which I didn’t request.
This deserves today’s “Computer Detectives Intercouse-Stupid Certificate”.
September 2025: another effort to find out about my account being messed up with PayPal, email being evalewinter@gmail.com. A real person replies, Brat, when I explain the issue the phone call is muted after 5 minutes, there is no reply anymore on this recorded line, the phone call is interrupted after minutes and 17 seconds.
Unresolved issues, lost customers.
PayPal is one of the companies that is part of the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. We are getting to the bottom of the problem.
Also PayPal tries to force businesses to run their credit card payment process through them. For example with Fleurop you cannot pay with credit card anymore you have to go through PayPal, what I don’t do, because they never resolved the issue with my previous PayPal account associated with my email “evamarialewinter@yahoo.com”.
July 2026: I receive an email on my yahoo account and indeed I was able to assign a new password to this really old PayPal account. I joined in 2010 and his is within the Madoff investigation time frame. Now I updated all my profile information and interesting enough there is a really old home phone number in there, that I cannot change. I don’t have a landline anymore for several years, for approximately 10 years, my mobile phone number area code 260 that is spammed 30 times a day and therefore always on silence and voicemail, is already mentioned as my mobil phone number and I cannot use it as my home phone number in this PayPal account.
The old primary phone number is labeled “home” and starts with a 9 and ends with a 16. I do not even remember anymore which one that was.
Now both of those phone numbers are labeled “primary” and according to the error message I should be able to delete one. This is however not possible. It is not possible to delete the old 9…16 number, evenso I have a primary mobile number 260…

Those fucking idiots cannot even delete a old phone number who is going somewhere nobody knows, the account being associated with my social security number and then they need more information to very my identity? How fucking stupid are those people?
