Not sure why the change for $184 didn’t go through, the App wanted me to buy a seat on top of the ticket price. I usually don’t buy a seat and have the airline sign one for free. If the change didn’t go through because I didn’t pay for a seat, that actually means that Delta is selling tickets without a seat, which is fraud!

Performatives vs. Constatives:
Austin begins by challenging the idea that all sentences are “constative” (statements that can be judged as strictly true or false, like “It is raining”). He introduces performative utterances—sentences that do not merely describe things, but do things.
Felicity Conditions:
Unlike constatives which are true or false, performative utterances are either “happy” (successful) or “unhappy” (infelicitous).
